A study in material reciprocity, this canopy leverages the tension of a two way stretch textile against the active bending of plastic strips. This pre-stressed system creates a bistable perimeter where five independent sections toggle between open and closed states, redefining the captured volume. The project serves as a prototype for lightweight, adaptive architecture where structural performance and spatial flexibility can create different programmatic states.
